Our Challenge

Led by Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Majority Leader Harry Reid, Congress has aggressively attempted to move the country toward a neo-socialist agenda that includes the nationalization of healthcare and industry, massive federal spending, and a cap-and-trade program that could impair our sovereignty and cripple our economy. These endeavors are a potenial threat to our liberty today—and to our Founders' intent for our union. The erosion of and the threat to freedom is no longer an abstract argument.

Unless the current liberal legislative agenda is confronted and altered, neo-socialism could easily become the dominant theme in our government and usher in the decline of America's liberty and leadership role in the world. That will have devastating consequences not only to America, but also to the fate of freedom in the world.

Yet it is no longer acceptable to just be against an issue. A viable alternative needs to be offered so the electorate can discuss and evaluate the options. Failure to alter the increasingly socialist legislative agenda with a true alternative—one that is built on ideology and not just opposition—will result in disastrous consequences for our freedom, safety and a return to prosperity.
