Our Opportunity
The opportunity exists for candidates committed to liberty to win Congressional seats in the 2010 election. But it will not just happen. With the right plan, the liberal majority in the House of Representatives could be replaced. We believe a committed, energized, and focused electorate will advance to polling places this November and send a clear message to the White House.
Given the fact that the country is largely center-right, the Left spends a tremendous amount of money to have an impact. With equal resources, we will reverse their agenda and permanently put them on the defense. The Campaign to Restore Liberty will provide the strategic catalyst needed to send this vital message.
The goal for the Campaign to Restore Liberty in 2010 is to return balance to the United States House by electing more Representatives committed to freedom. We will target 55 congressional races with a goal of winning 39 additional seats. If this occurs, conservatives will gain control of the House chamber and the Pelosi-led liberal agenda will be derailed.
The focus for the Campaign to Restore Liberty is to:
- Defeat the liberal legislative agenda by replacing liberal voting members of Congress with conservatives
- Educate, motivate, and activate voters within the targeted Congressional Districts
- Provide challenger support
- Offer district issue polling and incumbent voting record data
- Identify unregistered and inactive voters and educate them so they register and vote
- Determine depth of disaffected and frustrated voters within the district by working with Tea Party movement representatives
We plan to engage a grassroots campaign focusing on:
