Our Purpose

Our mission, beginning in 2010, is to elect Members to U.S. House of Representatives that are fully committed to standing for the liberty our Founders were willing to die for. We will finance and direct activities to generate maximum voter turnout in selected Congressional Districts where candidates that place a premium on Jeffersonian freedom are running.

Our purpose is to "Restore Liberty" to America before it is lost forever.  Our Founders educated the hearts and the minds of the American people in their day. By framing the public debate around the inspirational thematic message of Freedom, we look to do the same today.

To stand for liberty, we must stand against any loss of freedom to the Federal government. We will contrast, based upon public record, incumbants who support the restoration of liberty and those who do not.

2010 is not just another Congressional election year given the alarming erosion of basic freedoms resulting from the Pelosi-driven legislative juggernaut. Having the financial means to help stop this downward spiral but opting not to do so, brings to mind the words of Thomas Paine, one of the Fathers of the American Revolution and author of Common Sense, who said:
"Those who expect to realize the blessings of freedom, must...undergo the fatigue of supporting it."

The American Freedom Council is looking for Founding Partners who believe as we do and will commit finances, despite their fatigue, to help AFC draw a line for freedom in the sand and say, "Enough!"  Your financial support is vital to securing the blessings of freedom for present and future generations of Americans.
